What is Goat Couture?
Goat Couture™ ’24 is a fun and unique goat fashion show that celebrates creativity and community, where goats dress up in costumes and walk down a runway to raise funds for the participating local FFA chapters in Hays and Blanco Counties.
When and where is the event?
Goat Couture™ ’24 will take place on September 28th, 2024, at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Mark your calendars for a day of fun and creativity! Save the date – 9/28!
Will you have Goat Couture™ Merch!
We will absolutely have Goat Couture™ Merch! Hats, tee shirts and other goodies. Bring and donate a can of food at the event and get $1.00 off Goat Couture™ Merch!!
I want to walk a goat, but I don’t have a goat! What can I do?
No worries! We have goat matchmakers ready to help you find the perfect goat that will rock your costume! Just let us know, and we’ll connect you with a goat that fits your style.
I don’t have a costume for my goat. What can I do?
We’ve got you covered! We have a talented costume designer and a selection of costumes available for you to use. You’re welcome to bring or make your own! Just let us know in advance if you need one, and we’ll help you find the perfect outfit for your goat.

This year, we have an exciting lineup of categories:

– Pairs (two goats dressed as a coordinated pair)

How do I register my goat for the fashion show?
You can register your goat by filling out the registration form on our website. Be sure to include all necessary information and any special requirements your goat might have.
What is the entry fee for participating?
The entry fee for participating in Goat Couture™ ’24 is $25. This fee helps cover event costs and supports the participating local FFA chapters.
Are there any requirements for participating goats?
All participating goats must be healthy, well-behaved, and comfortable around people and other animals. Additionally, they should be able to walk on a lead or be carried if necessary.
Can I bring more than one goat?
Absolutely! You can bring multiple goats to participate. Each goat will need to be registered individually, and each will have its own entry fee.
What should I bring to the event?
Please bring your goat’s costume, a lead, water, and any other essentials your goat might need. We’ll have water stations and a comfortable waiting area for all participants.
How are the winners chosen?
Winners are chosen based on creativity, presentation, and adherence to the category theme. Our panel of judges will score each entry, and prizes will be awarded to the top entries in each category.
Is there an audience fee for attending the event?
Yes, there is a small fee for audience members. All proceeds go towards supporting the local FFA chapters. Tickets can be purchased in advance on our website for $8 or $10 at the door.
Can I volunteer to help with the event?
We’d love to have you! Volunteers are crucial to making Goat Couture™ ’24 a success. Please fill out the volunteer form on our website, and we’ll get in touch with you.
Will there be food and drinks available at the event?
Yes! We will have food and drink vendors on-site to ensure everyone can enjoy some tasty treats while cheering on the goats.
Can I take photos during the event?
Absolutely! We encourage everyone to capture the fun moments. However, please be mindful of our GOATographers and respect the privacy of other participants.
What happens if it rains?
Goat Couture™ ’24 will take place rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants and attendees.
Are there prizes for winners?
Yes! Winners in each category will receive special prizes, and all participants will receive a participation ribbon to celebrate their efforts.

Is there a limit to the number of goats that can participate?
While we want as many goats to join the fun as possible, there may be a limit based on space and safety considerations. Please register early to secure your spot!
